We raised a EUR 12.5m Series A round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners

Berlin — Wednesday, August 10th, 2022: Today we are thrilled to announce our EUR 12.5m Series A funding round (USD 12.8m) led by Lightspeed Venture Partners to launch and scale our DeFi wallet & investing platform Ultimate. In this round Lightspeed is joined by our existing investors Speedinvest, Rockaway Blockchain Fund, Backed, Inflection, Discovery Ventures, Fabric Ventures and newly added Anagram. The deal was closed in early July and follows a EUR 4.5m seed round announced in October 2021, which allowed us to quickly scale the team to 25 people and develop the launch version of our product.

Our mission is to bring Decentralized Finance (DeFi) to the masses with our self-custody wallet called Ultimate. The mobile app offers access to a curated set of DeFi protocols, which are natively integrated to provide a seamless mobile investing and trading experience. When details about our product were announced in early July, the news quickly garnered interest from over 300k beta users worldwide who registered for our waitlist. Ultimate will launch in private Beta in the next few days, with the public launch planned for later this year. Initially launching on iOS, Ultimate will eventually be released for Android as well.
